Ordered: green papaya salad, chicken pad thai, short rib with massaman curry
Comments: Papaya salad was okay. There was lots of papaya, some spring mix lettuce mix? and a sprinkling of tomatoes. It was a little on the salty side. Chicken pad thai was what you would expect, nothing extraordinary. Pakpao’s version doesn’t include pressed tofu, or the preserved turnip. Noodle Wave is still my favorite for pad thai in Dallas. Blake ordered the short rib with massaman curry, probably my favorite for the night. The waitress suggested we get coconut rice with it, which we did. The curry was flavorful, and complemented the rice. The coconut rice is similar to the sticky rice used in thai desserts, only less sweet. The short rib was tender and portion size was adequate. Thumbs up, but won’t be a go-to.
