Wat Temple

Ordered: pork & chicken skewers ($1), papaya salad ($7), mango with sticky rice ($5), basil ground pork ($7), chicken pad thai ($7)

Comments: We came here to try the food. On Sundays, different vendors sell Thai food, all the proceeds go to the temple. We sampled and bought food form several different stands. The skewers were great. Fresh off the grill and only $1 each. They tasted similar to the vietnamese chargrilled meats. The papaya salad was made to order, and basically all papaya 🙂 There were two stands for papaya salad. We would probably try the other stand next time. The mango with sticky rice was the right amount of sweetness with plenty of mango. The basil ground pork and pad thai, we took home to eat later throughout the week. Cash only here. Overall, everything was reasonably priced and tasted good. Thumbs up.
